Getting The Epinio Standalone Instance Running

If you haven't already completed the prerequisites, do those now.

Running the UI Backend​

  1. Ensure your epinio instance is running, which is detailed in the prerequisites page.
  2. Ensure you have Go installed.
  3. Clone the repository git clone git@github.com:epinio/ui.git.
  4. Navigate to the backend/src/jetstream and run npm run build-backend.
  5. Create a config.properties file for the backend. You can use the example below to get started.

  1. Run the backend server ./jetstream.
  2. The backend should start up and give an address with the port :5443.

Running Epinio UI​

  1. Navigate to the dashboard directory.
  2. Run EXCLUDES_PKG=harvester,rancher-components RANCHER_ENV=epinio API=https://localhost:5443 yarn dev.
  3. Navigate to the address displayed in your terminal; it should be something like localhost:8005.
